Green River Pottery’s eleventh annual summer event - please stop by to see the latest work from the kiln, plus sort through, as before, stacks of ‘old’ pots going at terrific prices.
New this year, a theme: inspiration that comes to the studio through travels, and through food. In March I spent eleven days in Japan and impressions, thoughts, inspiration, from this fleeting visit have been with me as I resume work this spring.
This year we’ll have Japanese-themed food & drink by Nao Sadewic, & I’ll discuss the latest work, and travels, during two brief talks:
Friday at 5:30 pm
Saturday at 2:00 pm
Nao will also describe her process, and talk about koji, the ‘secret ingredient’ in much of the food she’ll prepare.
There may even be some slides of pottery & scenery from Bizen, Tamba, Tajimi…
Please join us - stop in anytime Friday afternoon or Saturday for refreshments, to say hi, & see the latest work.
