Over time, these vase forms remain my favorite. Both to make, and to live with. I return to them after being away from the studio, and make more. Simple, reconnecting, archetypal.
This one sat on the shelf for several months waiting for the kiln. So it was a surprise, the matte blue glaze, the drips streaming off the shoulder.
