Residency
Green River Pottery includes a gallery, teaching studio called ‘A3’ as well as an ‘old’ studio where we fire kilns, mix glazes, reclaim clay.
We sometimes customize a short-term residency to work full-time in our ‘old’ studio & create a body of work. You may have experience in clay, or be enrolled in a college with a winter term or a field work term. Join us, help with chores & daily studio tasks, have freedom to work days & evenings, weeks & weekends, here in the vibrant Lena Street Loft neighborhood of Santa Fe.
You’ll need your own housing & transportation. There may be a monthly dues requirement to cover materials & firing. The residency is usually offered to those who have not worked at Green River Pottery for a year or so. Sometimes there is an option to work additional hours on the clock for money.
