Potter's Wheel Primer January 7 - February 25
Note: as of December 4 we have full registration in this section. Feel free to email me if you’d like to be on the waitlist. Thanks - Theo
Here’s the class you’re looking for if you’d like to try the wheel - if you’ve been wondering what it’s like. Or, if you have some experience & it’s been a while, this is a great class to survey all the basics: preparing your clay, centering, throwing, trimming, glazing.
Our sessions are easygoing, conversational, informative, and give you lots of time to just work on your own if that’s how you learn. Everyone learns differently.
We’ll work with stoneware clay, firing to cone 10 reduction in our gas kiln. Demonstration, discussion, and attention to the fundamentals of technique & design as you pursue your own version of the beautiful ceramic form.
Your class registration also provides access to our worktime calendar to plan your independent sessions in the studio.
Note: by placing your order for this class, you're consenting to our Participation Guidelines & Liability Release form. Please take a moment to review this form before signing up. Thank you!
