Potter's Wheel Primer: Tuesday Morning

$445.00

If you’d like to try the wheel for the first time, or, if you have experience & would like opportunities to discuss & explore new projects, this is a great class.

We’ll survey the basics - preparing your clay, centering, throwing, trimming, glazing. We’ll make handles & lids, look at example pieces, and learn a little about the creative process along the way.

The creative process is different for everyone. Our sessions are easygoing, conversational, informative, and give you lots of time to just work on your own. Demonstration, discussion, and attention to the fundamentals of technique & design.

The studio supplies stoneware clay & we fire to cone 10 in reduction. Your class registration also provides access to our worktime calendar to plan your independent sessions in the studio (independent sessions are $15 plus tax for 3 hours).
