Our resident geologists, Elena Miranda & Josh Schwartz, will discuss the geology of Northern New Mexico, and focus on the Chama river valley & Ojo Caliente, an important center for micaceous clay & pottery. We’ll learn some science of clay, and how mica, a thin, glittery, silicate material, is used in the clay studio.

Time: Friday June 26, 5pm - 6:30pm
Place: Green River Pottery on Lena Street. We’ll meet upstairs in our ‘A3’ studio, adjacent to Iconik coffee.
