I rarely keep work made during classes - this piece was just too alive-feeling though, round & full with the floppy rim, for tossing in the scrap bucket.

Glazed with a formula that includes local clay, wood ash, & talc - a mineral that gives crystal-forming magnesium to the melt, and you see some yellow magnesium-silicate crystal growth here on the shoulder of the form.
