Since the Saturday Morning Intermediate started filling up briskly last fall, it was suggested to add an afternoon session. As long as we get enough sigups we will keep this afternoon session as the new year begins.
2pm - 4pm on Saturdays. We’ll continue our exploration of technique, form, & sometimes ceramic history. Maybe we’ll have a guest speaker this time around also.
Throwing big platters, stacking cylinders to achieve tall forms, making sets, studying a good or well-loved piece of pottery and, most important, identifying the projects you want to do & having lots of time to work on them.
Demonstration, discussion, worktime. We’ll use the studio cone 10 clay & fire in gas reduction. Your class registration includes access to our worktime calendar to plan your independent sessions throughout the week & weekend (the calendar does charge $15 per three-hour session).
